As the pace of vaccine distribution quickens and as new CDC guidelines allowing vaccinated individuals to gather without masks are announced, easily demonstrating vaccination statuses will become increasingly important. ImmunaBand’s proprietary wristband will show immunization status to anyone with a smartphone.
As the coronavirus pandemic continues and people get vaccinated, we’re seeing various methods being used to verify a person’s vaccination status. Chief of these has been the digital health passports such as Israel’s Green Pass, New York’s Excelsior Pass, and Hawaii’s vaccine pass.
Paper cards are being used as well and we also recently discovered that the Pentagon has been working on a microchip to insert under the skin that they claim can detect the coronavirus. Now another method is being used in the form of a wearable bracelet known as “ImmunaBand”.
The ImmunaBand is meant to be used as a method of physically showing others that you have been vaccinated which in turn is supposed to relieve anxieties and help bring an end to the pandemic, at least that’s how it’s being marketed.
This has only been released recently and due to that it’s still very early to say if this will actually catch on and be used in the wider public. However, in my opinion all this will do is further gear the minds of the majority of the public to rely on either a digital health passport or in this case a physical identifier (i.e. bracelet) to determine who’s vaccinated and therefore “safe” versus those that aren’t and therefore “unsafe”.
Whether this specific product becomes widely used or is soon forgotten – to me – isn’t the main concern here. What should be the primary focus in regards to news like this is the idea behind the product. Who’s to say if in a few weeks or months down the line we won’t see some other type of bracelet or physical identifier also put out to the forefront?
Much like the digital health passports, this too could also be used to eventually allow or disallow service to people on the basis of vaccine status as we’re already seeing today in various areas of life (i.e. travel, school, shopping, restaurants, etc). Some are calling for this exact system as they encourage the vaccinated to “shun” the “vaccine hesitant”. Ultimately I believe things like this are setting the stage for the mark of the beast system that will come about during the tribulation period.
As I said earlier, the idea behind this is what we should be paying attention to the most. Today, it’s a wearable bracelet, but tomorrow could we see this move to the hand or forehead? From what I see written in the bible concerning what’s yet to come, that may be the case.
With that being said, it’s important to be clear that this is not the mark of the beast, nor is that what I’m proposing in this article. From scripture, we’re clearly given the context as to when the mark of the beast will come to ultimate fruition – during the 7 year tribulation. Before the tribulation even starts, the antichrist must first be revealed and confirm a covenant for a “week” (7 years).
Until the “beast” himself shows up on the world stage, there will be no “mark of the beast”. However, as we see technology and systems that seem to resemble it become more prominent in our time, it should show us how close this portion of the bible is to being fulfilled, and even closer, the rapture of the church.
ImmunaBand Launches First Wearable Designed to Digitally Access your COVID-19 Vaccination Documentation
PRNewswire: The ImmunaBand is a stylish blue silicone bracelet emblazoned with the words “COVID-19 Vaccinated.” Each bracelet has a metal tag with an engraved, unique QR code which, when scanned by a smartphone, directs users to their personal password-protected vaccination record.
To purchase an ImmunaBand, customers must complete a COVID-19 vaccination that has received FDA Emergency Authorization and upload their vaccination card documenting that status to ImmunaBand’s HIPAA-compliant server. The vaccination card storage process is end-to-end encrypted to ensure data privacy and security.
“These vaccines are a culmination of some of the best work the scientific community has ever seen. But with its tremendous benefits come challenges—as it stands, quick, easy access to documentation of vaccination status is lacking,” said J. Tashof Bernton, MD, President of ImmunaBand. “After a year defined by divisions, we deserve to feel comfortable and safe in public. ImmunaBand will serve as the passport that returns us back to normal life.”
The creators of ImmunaBand developed the technology to restore trust, bring people back together, and help collectively move toward a post-quarantine world. Immunaband offers a visible solution not just to individuals but to businesses who are eager to safely reopen their doors. Read More
Doctor creates ImmunaBand to digitally access and show coronavirus vaccination
Fox29: Face masks aren’t the only accessory brought into our lives by the pandemic. Now, there is a bracelet that lets you access your vaccination information digitally.
As Central American specialties sizzle on the grill at a Reading Terminal restaurant you may notice the employees are wearing a blue bracelet.
“No, I didn’t notice. I thought it was a fashion statement,” diner Mike Schramm said.
It’s a new ID bracelet with a QR code that proves you are vaccinated. It’s something that was important to restaurant owner of El Merkury Sophia Deleon.
“We partnered with Immunaband to upload our vaccine cards that lets customers know we were all vaccinated,” Deleon explained.
Immunaband is a wearable ID for anyone who wants it. Dr. Tashof Bernton developed the product with the help of his son, a Wharton school grad, and made the connection to El Merkury.
“As we come back together as a society, it’s nice to have to have a way to tell each other I’m safe and I’ve been vaccinated,” Bernton said. “You get the Immunaband, you upload your card, and it’s with you all the time if you want it. You just use the QR code.” Read More
