USA Today Opinion Piece Argues That it’s Time to Start ‘Shunning’ the ‘Vaccine Hesitant’

“Enough analysis of these human petri dishes. Everyone who wants a vaccine will soon have one, and proof should be required to work, play and travel.”

In my opinion, the headline for this article says it all. I’ve been speaking on this very scenario becoming a possibility since the covid vaccines became a point of discussion. What’s being argued for here – although originating from an opinion piece – isn’t some strange fringe concept nor is it anything new.

In the past I’ve frequently referenced the November 26th Arutz Sheva article, ‘We won’t force vaccine; but here’s what we will do’, as it expresses this point well,

The issue of how to “motivate” vaccine compliance has generated increasing interest, with commentators such as Mike Cernovich writing: “Government won’t force you to take vaccine. Amazon will. Airlines will. Banks will. You won’t be able to buy, sell, or trade without the vaccine.”

It’s almost as if this individual read Revelation 13:16-17 before making his remark. This system being spoken of (that we’re also now witnessing form around us) will prohibit those who don’t get vaccinated to be shut of out certain parts of society or might I say, “shunned”.

Again, this thought process isn’t just restricted to a few individuals. It’s gaining ground. On April 9th, La Soufriere volcano on the Caribbean island St. Vincent erupted prompting an evacuation for the island’s residents…but only for those vaccinated.

An Alaskan village has now also banned the unvaccinated from in-person shopping, Lifesite news reported. Meanwhile in my article on Hawaii’s vaccine passport, I wrote about how more than 1,200 Christian leaders in the UK wrote a letter to Prime Minister Boris Johnson to not go ahead with plans to establish a vaccine passport warning that it could lead to a “two-tier society” and “medical apartheid”, which is what we’re seeing now.

My purpose in highlighting this is to show how we’re seeing this thought process already working its way throughout society and technology such as the digital vaccine passports only serves to speed this up. I also highlighted this fact in my article on ImmunaBand’s bracelet meant to act as a way to physically show others your vaccine status and likewise, quickly show who hasn’t been vaccinated.

The author of the USA Today article, Michael J. Stern, also blamed the unvaccinated for us not reaching herd immunity which he states is “slipping away because a quarter of Americans are refusing to get the COVID-19 vaccine”. Who are the one-fourth of Americans who are the problem you might ask? “White evangelicals” and “republicans”.

It’s not just wacky former rockers who have put herd immunity out of reach. It is white evangelicals (45% say they won’t get vaccinated). And it is Republicans (almost 50% are refusing the vaccine). In Texas, 61% of white Republicans say they are reluctant to get the vaccine or would refuse it. You can slap the euphemism “vaccine hesitancy” on the problem, but in the end the G.O.P., and the children of G.O.D., are perpetuating a virus that is sickening and killing people in droves.

With the way the argument is made here it sets up conservatives and those who are religious as the problem and throws in ethnicity in what seems – to me – to be an attempt at trying to illicit anger from the readers as white people are frequently being thrown under the bus and blamed for all of society’s woes in this ever increasing “woke” culture we find ourselves in.

As possible solutions he then suggests that “restaurants, movie theaters, gyms, barbers, airlines and Ubers should require proof of vaccination before providing their services”, that businesses should require proof of vaccination to be employed, and that even friends should require other friends to get vaccinated to attend social gatherings such as barbecues and birthday parties. What a crazy world we live in.

Ultimately I believe this is all conditioning people to be ready for what’s coming down the line – the mark of the beast. From scripture, we’re clearly given the context as to when the mark of the beast will come to ultimate fruition – during the 7 year tribulation. Before the tribulation even starts, the antichrist must first be revealed and confirm a covenant for a “week” (7 years).

Until the “beast” himself shows up on the world stage, there will be no “mark of the beast”. However, as we see technology and ideas that seem to be laying the groundwork for the mark of the beast system future system, it should show us how close this portion of the bible is to being fulfilled, and even closer, the rapture of the church.

It’s time to start shunning the ‘vaccine hesitant.’ They’re blocking COVID herd immunity.

USA Today: Has-been rock star Ted Nugent told the world last week that he has COVID-19.  Nugent’s announcement was an oddity because he previously called the viral pandemic a “leftist scam to destroy” former president Donald Trump.

As I watched Nugent’s Facebook Live post, in which he repeatedly hocked up wads of phlegm and spit them to the ground, I got emotional when he described being so sick he thought he “was dying.” But when he trashed the COVID-19 vaccine and warned people against taking it, I realized that the emotion I was feeling was not empathy, it was anger.

For the better part of a year, as the coronavirus racked up hundreds of thousands of American deaths, the flickering light at the end of the tunnel was herd immunity — the antibody force-shield that comes when enough people have survived the illness or have been vaccinated against it. “Go get vaccinated, America,” President Biden said in his speech to Congress this week, referring to the shot as “a dose of hope.”

Anthony Fauci, the nation’s top infectious disease doctor, suggested in December that if 75% to 85% of the population got vaccinated, we could reach herd immunity by June. And with herd immunity, we’d return to a measure of “normalcy,” meaning indoor dining, movie theaters and hugs.

But herd immunity is slipping away because a quarter of Americans are refusing to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Dr. Gregory Poland, director of the Mayo Clinic’s Vaccine Research Group recently said:  “There is no eradication at this point, it’s off the table. We as a society have rejected” herd immunity.  Hmm, no!  “We” have not rejected anything. A quarter of the country is ruining it for all of us.
