CommonPass Health Passport Backed by World Economic Forum, Rockefeller Foundation

Throughout the year health passports have been an ongoing point of discussion around the world as a means to ease people into society or facilitate safe interactions within society during the coronavirus pandemic. CoviPass was the first digital health passport I covered earlier in May followed by Health Passport Ireland in October.

These are worth keeping an eye on, but even more so is Swiss-based nonprofit trust The Commons Project’s “CommonPass” – another digital health passport. CommonPass however is not the only app being developed by this nonprofit trust but also includes CommonHealth and COVIDCheck.

The reason this one caught my attention even more so is the backing behind it. First and foremost, the World Economic Forum (WEF) is included in this initiative. Why does this matter? In June I touched on “The Great Reset” being headed by the WEF, an initiative that aims to “revamp all aspects of our societies and economies, from education to social contracts and working conditions. Every country, from the United States to China, must participate, and every industry, from oil and gas to tech, must be transformed”.

And again, the pandemic is the cause of this. The solution? To essentially fundamentally change the world as we know it. To me, CommonPass seems to be a part of this Great Reset. Next up is the Rockefeller Foundation who also gave their support in funding to this non-profit.

What’s interesting to note here is that the Rockefeller Foundation is also a “Founding Partner” of the ID2020 alliance who’s goal is to get everyone on earth a digital ID. It’s this same Rockefeller Foundation who aided The Common Project. On the main page of their own website they give credit to them by stating, “The Commons Project was established with support from the Rockefeller Foundation.” You see how this is all coming together?

To add to this, the Rockefeller Foundation is also behind a scenario planning exercise that details 4 “plausible” scenarios that they believe the world may progress towards within the next 15 to 20 years. The over 50 page document dubbed “Scenarios for the Future of Technology and international Development” was created in 2010.

  • Lock Step: A world of tighter top-down government control and more authoritarian leadership, with limited innovation and growing citizen pushback
  • Clever Together: A world in which highly coordinated and successful strategies emerge for addressing both urgent and entrenched worldwide issues
  • Hack Attack: An economically unstable and shock-prone world in which governments weaken, criminals thrive, and dangerous innovations emerge
  • Smart Scramble: An economically depressed world in which individuals and communities develop localized, makeshift solutions to a growing set of problems

The first scenario “Lock Step” details a hypothetical pandemic and possible responses and technologies that may arise out of the need to respond to it effectively. Whatever you may think about this, on a basic level I believe it’s clear that the pandemic is being used to further various agendas. My goal here is to simply present the facts that exist. The document is real. The ties mentioned above are real.

I encourage you to keep these things in consideration and draw your own conclusions. It seems to me that the goals of ID2020, The Great Reset, and some aspects of this document may be coming together as we speak, with The Commons Project as one of the tangible results of this union.

Digital ‘health passport’ trials under way to aid reopening of borders

From the Guardian: A new digital “health passport” is to be piloted by a small number of passengers flying from the UK to the US for the first time next week under plans for a global framework for Covid-safe air travel. The CommonPass system, backed by the World Economic Forum (WEF), is designed to create a common international standard for passengers to demonstrate they do not have coronavirus.

However, critics of similar schemes point to concerns over the sensitivity and specificity of the tests in various countries amid fears over greater monitoring over people’s movements. Paul Meyer, the CEO at the Commons Project, which was given startup funding by the Rockefeller Foundation two years ago and created the digital health pass, said countries that have closed borders and imposed quarantines are looking for ways to “thoughtfully reopen” their borders.

“It’s hard to do that,” he told the Guardian. “It requires being able to assess the health of incoming travellers … Hopefully, we’ll soon start to see some vaccines come on to the market, but there is not going to be just one vaccine. “Some countries are going to probably say, ‘OK, I want to see documentation you’ve gotten one of these vaccines, but not one of those vaccines’.”

Pointing to existing requirements in a number of countries, notably paper-based evidence of a yellow fever vaccination, Meyer said similar proof – held digitally – for coronavirus could soon be required to travel for “the foreseeable future”. Read More

A New COVID “Passport” Being Tested at Newark and Heathrow Could Help Reopen Global Travel

From AFAR: A new pilot program allows passengers to upload health data such as COVID test results—which could ultimately help facilitate the reopening of borders. The first successful transatlantic trial of a new digital health “passport” was executed this week on a flight from London to New Jersey, enabling travelers to provide certified COVID-19 test information to border officials upon arrival.

The digital health pass, called CommonPass, was developed by Swiss-based nonprofit the Commons Project and the World Economic Forum; it is being presented to 37 governments (and counting) as a way to help facilitate the reopening of borders and travel amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Volunteer travelers who landed at Newark Liberty International Airport on October 21 used the CommonPass on their mobile phones to share their COVID-19 test status with airline staff and observers. Their arrival on United Airlines flight 15 from London’s Heathrow Airport marked the first successful transatlantic trial of the CommonPass. Officials from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) were on site to observe the CommonPass demonstration at Newark.

“The COVID pandemic has brought down travel and tourism across the board,” stated Troy Miller, CBP’s director of field operations in New York. “CBP is happy to observe the efforts and be a part of the solution to build confidence in air travel and are encouraged by this CommonPass pilot.”

The Heathrow-Newark trial followed a successful trial of CommonPass on a Cathay Pacific Airways flight from Hong Kong to Singapore on October 6. Additional airlines and routes in Asia, Africa, the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East are expected to participate in “quick succession,” according to the Commons Project.

So, how does it work? Each participating country must decide on two things—first, which COVID-19 tests and lab results are deemed credible. For instance, in the United States, the current standard required by states such as Hawaii has become a PCR test (also known as the nasal swab test) administered by a lab certified by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA). Prophetic Implications

My purpose in writing this article isn’t to show that things are following a playbook of a group of people but that rather everything currently occurring is following God’s word. For the believer in Christ we’re aware of what the bible tells us we should expect during the last days. As we inch closer and closer towards the tribulation period, we will begin to see shadows of what will take place then in our time now.

I believe that these health passport apps and overall system could be both getting people conditioned and set the stage for what’s to come. During the tribulation there will be a mark of the beast system that will require everyone to have a mark on their right and or forehead and without it one will not be able to participate in society (i.e. buy and sell). I am not saying that this technology is that system, but rather it could be leading up to it or serve as a component to the larger whole prophetically speaking.

He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. (Revelation 13:16-17)

Similarly we could very well see this begin to occur with health passports which may dictate the need for someone to be tested or vaccinated before being able to enter a public establishment or travel. Remember that CommonPass is not an “isolated” occurrence. This comes at a time where much is going at at once. Notable individuals such as UK’s former Prime Minister called for a global government as a solution against the pandemic earlier in the year while United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres stated the pandemic gives us an opportunity to “rebuild our world for the better”.

George Soros also echoed these sentiments earlier this year by stating the pandemic is “the crisis of a lifetime”. Likewise, Prince Charles believes the pandemic gives us a chance to reset the global economy. Most, if not all of these goals would of course also fit into the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. This is no coincidence. I’ve been clear that I believe the pandemic is being used to further various agendas and even the unbelieving world can see that. Some may say we should change how things are in the world but keep in mind that we’re not calling the shots.

Are we sure the “reimagined” and “rebuilt” world they’re working towards is truly something that’s for our best interest or theirs? The WEF makes their intentions clear, but are we paying attention? Every country, from the United States to China, must participate, and every industry, from oil and gas to tech, must be transformed. In short, we need a “Great Reset” of capitalism”.

The bible paints a very clear picture for us concerning how the tribulation period is going to be and it’s not pretty. For the believer, this should serve as encouragement as it shows us our redemption draws ever so closely! If you’re not a believer I encourage you to consider what you read today and believe what the bible has to say concerning the times we’re living in and God’s free gift of salvation!
