California Launches COVID-19 Vaccine Verification System

California has launched a COVID-19 vaccine verification system that provides digital replicas of the traditional wallet-size paper cards, in an effort that officials say will make it easier for residents to supply proof of inoculation if needed.

California is now the latest state to launch what they’re calling a “COVID-19 vaccine verification system” or what I’d say is in essence, a covid passport (although they’re shying away from this specific label). This comes after New York’s Excelsior Pass and Hawaii’s vaccine passport.

For now they’re stating this isn’t required for everyone nor is this system mandated but they also make it clear that “it’s possible individual businesses or venues — or even county-level health officers — might opt to impose vaccine verification in certain cases” (Los Angeles Times).

And why wouldn’t they as this is the general trend we’ve been seeing in the US and worldwide. Recently, it was also reported that unvaccinated students at a New Hampshire high school prom were marked on their hands with numbers to identify them, “A New Hampshire high school managed to hold prom, despite continued concerns over the coronavirus pandemic, by writing numbers on the hands of unvaccinated students” (WVLT).

As if this wasn’t enough students also had to raise their hands to display these markings every few songs, “During the dancing, after every few songs, students were asked to raise their hands to determine who they were around” (WVLT). Currently the vaccines aren’t forced upon us, but that isn’t stopping the government from essentially bribing people to do so with free food, money, and entertainment.

If that doesn’t work singling people out by way of peer pressure – such as in the case of the highschool prom – may be another method to cause others to get the vaccine. Either way, it seems to me that we’re gradually moving to the point where the vaccine will be required to work, go to school, purchase goods, access services, and in general, function normally in society. And we’re already seeing the case for this exact thing to be implemented.

Ultimately I believe this is all conditioning people to be ready for what’s coming down the line – the mark of the beast. From scripture, we’re clearly given the context as to when the mark of the beast will come to ultimate fruition – during the 7 year tribulation. Before the tribulation even starts, the antichrist must first be revealed and confirm a covenant for a “week” (7 years).

Until the “beast” himself shows up on the world stage, there will be no “mark of the beast”. However, as we see technology and ideas that seem to be laying the groundwork for the mark of the beast system, it should show us how close this portion of the bible is to being fulfilled, and even closer, the rapture of the church.

California unveils system to provide digital COVID-19 vaccine records

Los Angeles Times: The new portal to access electronic records, officials said, is not the same as a vaccine “passport,” which has become politically controversial, but rather a simple convenience that offers residents an alternative to the physical slips they might not want to carry around or may have lost.

Residents aren’t required to obtain the electronic records, officials stressed, and there are no settings where the state mandates residents provide proof of vaccination as the sole option for entry.

But in the wake of California’s economic reopening, it’s possible individual businesses or venues — or even county-level health officers — might opt to impose vaccine verification in certain cases, making a digital option all the more attractive.

“We’re looking for this to be rolled out to whoever wants to use them,” said Amy Tong, the state’s chief information officer and director of the California Department of Technology.

Everyone who’s been inoculated against COVID-19 should have received a white paper card from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that details where and when they got their shots, as well as their brand of vaccine.

The new electronic option provides the same information, as well as a QR code that can be scanned to confirm its authenticity.

More than 22 million Californians have received at least one vaccine dose to date, federal figures show, so “the odds are someone’s going to misplace” their physical record, state epidemiologist Dr. Erica Pan said Friday.

“This is really no different than someone’s vaccine card,” she told reporters. “It’s an optional tool for Californians to use to be a touch more convenient, and one of many ways people can show and verify that they’ve been vaccinated.” Read More
