Want to enter a restaurant in Moscow? You’ll need a QR code for that. QR codes showing proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test are currently required by the city in order to dine inside at restaurants and bars. While most people carry their QR codes on their smartphones, the food service company Delivery Club is now offering a more novel way of proving vaccination.
This piece of news shouldn’t need much of an explanation for the believer in Christ as to why it’s prophetically significant. Since the beginning of the vaccination process many of us knew that we would possibly be heading down this path.
Most recently I spoke about how we’re seeing an increase with people wanting some kind of physical identification to determine who is vaccinated versus who isn’t in my article on the “ImmunaBand“.
In the article, I shared my thoughts stating I personally didn’t care about the specific product instead pointed to the idea behind it that seems to be gaining steam. This QR code tattoo comes at a time when we’ve already seen news about Pentagon developing a microchip meant to be inserted under the skin in order to detect for covid as well as the Amazon One palm scanner.
Although this QR code collaboration is a temporary one I firmly believe the mindset behind this will continue well into the future. I wouldn’t be surprised to see more of this type of thing be used around the world for covid and possibly general everyday life use. As of recent the unvaccinated are being blamed and we’re seeing stricter measures being employed.
The bible tells us clearly where this is all headed and we’re catching glimpses of it now. I believe that what we’re seeing coming together is both laying the groundwork for and conditioning people to be ready for what’s coming down the line – the mark of the beast. From scripture, we’re clearly given the context as to when the mark of the beast will come to ultimate fruition – during the 7 year tribulation. Before the tribulation even starts, the antichrist must first be revealed and confirm a covenant for a “week” (7 years).
Until the “beast” himself shows up on the world stage, there will be no “mark of the beast”. However, as we see technology and ideas that seem to be laying the groundwork for the mark of the beast system future system, it should show us how close this we are to the tribulation, and even closer, the rapture of the church.
A Russian food delivery service is offering temporary ‘immunity’ QR code tattoos to encourage COVID-19 vaccinations
Insider: They teamed up with Everink Tattoo — a startup that makes temporary tattoos — to produce temporary QR code tattoos you can stick on your arm.
Each tattoo is waterproof and lasts for about two weeks. There are six designs to choose from, and the tattoos cost 590 rubles (about $8) each. One design features a floral pattern, while another offers the saying “I believe in you,” the Moscow Times reported.
Delivery Club said it hopes these tattoos can highlight the importance of getting vaccinated while also giving a much-needed boost to restaurants and bars that have been hard hit by the pandemic, reported Reuters.
Tattoo wearers will still be required to show identification along with their QR code tats, in order to enter establishments, according to the Moscow Times.
Russia is currently experiencing a new wave of COVID-19 cases, with more than 171,000 cases registered this past week, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.
At the same time, it’s also struggling with a low vaccination rate due to vaccine hesitancy, as some remain skeptical of the Russian-made Sputnik V vaccine, reported Al Jazeera.
Only around 13% of the population — or about 19 million people — has been fully vaccinated, according to Johns Hopkins.
“With our temporary tattoos, we want to defuse the current situation a bit, and along the way diversify and make the process of presenting QR codes at city institutions more interesting,” Delivery Club told RIA Novosti news agency in a statement. Read More
Moscow’s QR Code Passes Get the Tattoo Treatment
The Moscow Times: Moscow’s latest tattoo trend could be your ticket into the city’s restaurants — literally.
A new project by the Delivery Club food delivery app and the Everink Tattoo online shop is giving Muscovites the chance to wear their QR codes proving their coronavirus vaccination or immunity as a temporary tattoo.
The codes, which can also be obtained with a recent negative PCR test result, are required to sit indoors at the Russian capital’s restaurants, cafes and bars. Moscow authorities introduced the new rule from June 28 in a move to clamp down on the spread of the Delta variant and push hesitant residents to vaccinate.
The temporary tattoos take out the extra step of having to take out your smartphone to scan your QR code — as you can just hold out your arm and scan the code on your skin.
“We want to ease the current tension and also make it more fun to present QR codes at the cities’ establishments,” Delivery Club’s press service told the state-run RIA Novosti news agency.
The tattoos come in six design options, including a floral design and one that says “I believe in you,” and cost 590 rubles ($8) each.
Muscovites can order the QR code tattoo through Everink Tattoo’s website and submit a link to their own personal code. In about 10 days, the tattoo will arrive to be applied to one’s skin. Read More
