Watchmen on the Wall

We’re currently living in a period of time where many prophecies in the bible are being fulfilled or are setting up for their near and future fulfillment. We are a blessed generation that is witnessing the words of the prophets come to life and experiencing things previous generations could only dream to see.

We are born for such a time as this. Amazingly enough however, the vast majority of the world including many of the body of Christ are blind concerning the signs of the times.

For those of us who are awake and paying attention, God is able to use us to wake up sleeping Christians and point skeptics to the truth of the Gospel. We are to sound the alarm as we see these things happen. This means we warn others of what the bible says is happening and what will come. Many will wake up to the sound of the alarms and heed our warnings but even more will block their ears and turn the other way. While we still have time, keep sounding that trump for others to hear. God will do the rest.

If you’re not familiar with the events going on around the world and how it fits into the bible, I recommend you check the below articles to catch up to the latest news and events or go here for an exhaustive list for my commentary on current events.

Again the word of the Lord came to me, saying, Son of man, speak to the children of your people, and say to them: ‘When I bring the sword upon a land, and the people of the land take a man from their territory and make him their watchman, when he sees the sword coming upon the land, if he blows the trumpet and warns the people, then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, if the sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be on his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, but did not take warning; his blood shall be upon himself. But he who takes warning will save his life. But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.’ (Ezekiel 33:1-6)

  1. I study Bible prophecy, science, and current events, and try to explain my conclusions to others, because I think end times Bible prophecies are going to be fulfilled soon. The generation that saw Israel re-created as a nation in 1948 is generally assumed to be around to see these events. If a generation is 70 or at best 80 years, then in theory little time remains. (Even Nostradamus seemed to say everything wraps up by 2028)

Two of my books seem relevant here.

My “End Times and 2019” book concludes that God renews the Earth using a pole shift, and that the next might be due the week of December 21-28, 2019.

I argue that forensic astronomy should be used to reconcile the ancient descriptions of future skies in bible prophecy with the actual positions of heavenly bodies as found through modern astronomical software. I conclude that if we draw analogies between Jesus and the Sun, and Earth and the Bride, etc… all the major steps of a week-long, ancient Jewish wedding ceremony are acted out in the sky during Hanukkah in 2019. Perhaps the most amazing to me is that the ceremony has an 8 minute intermission in the middle called the yichud, in which the wedding couple briefly gather their wits halfway through performing their parts in the ceremonies, and during this part the groom gives the bride the ring. On December 26, 2019 there is a total solar eclipse (eclipses never last more than about 7 minutes forty seconds) and observers on Earth will notice “the diamond ring effect” since the corona appears to extend around the edges of the moon. This even fulfills Isaiah 13:10 “the sun will be dark when it rises” as the total eclipse will be visible from Jerusalem at sunrise.

Isaiah 13:13 “I will make the heavens tremble, and the earth will be shaken from its place.”
Isaiah 24:1 “Behold, the Lord lays the earth waste, devastates it, distorts its surface and scatters its inhabitants.”
Job 9:5-6 “It is God who removes the mountains, they know not how, When He overturns them in His anger; Who shakes the earth out of its place, And its pillars tremble.”
Psalms 46:2 “though the earth should change and though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea.”
Haggai 2:6 “For thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘Once more in a little while, I am going to shake the heavens and the earth, the sea also and the dry land.”
Revelation 21:1 “Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away…”
Revelation 6:14 “The sky was split apart like a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.”

    • I’m glad you commented on my blog because I definitely like you and the research you’re doing haha. I love finding other Christian bloggers who study eschatology. I will definitely check out these resources thanks! Also will be checking out your blog later. Are you on pinterest by the way? I have a Eschatology board with other Christian bloggers. I’d love to have you join and share your insight. Hoping to build up a board with a lot of other Christian bloggers into Eschatology as I see very little of that.

  2. […] What does this mean for the Christian? If you aren’t paying attention the the signs accompanying the Lord’s return or you’re living a worldly life, then please wake up. We’re called to be watchful and sober of the times we’re in. We are to watch for the signs preceding the Lord’s return and warn others about it – as “watchmen on the wall”. […]
